Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Actually today, March 15th, is this years St. Patrick's Day!
"What?" you're asking....
Well, it changed its day (first time since 1940) to avoid conflict with the Holy Week, starting on 16th. The Vatican approved it in 2007.
Though it looks like many people still will be celebrating on the 17th which will be a national holiday, regardless. Even the Parade will be held on the 17th as confirmed by the St. Patrick's Festival Committee in Dublin.
So, not much is really changing, except the religious events surrounding St. Patrick's Day.
